CPU Scaling means you want to scale beyond the limits of your physical host CPU. For example your hosted server has 32 cores but you want it to have 256 cores. CPU Scaling allows you to scale past 10k cores on a single server.
Memory Scaling means you want to scale beyond the limits of your physical host memory. For example your hosted server has 128GB of memory but you want it to have 8TB of memory. Memory Scaling allows you to scale up to 1 petabyte of memory on a single server.
Disk I/O Scaling means you want to scale beyond the limits of your physical disk read/write I/O. For example your hosted server has 5k IOPS but you want it to have 100k IOPS. DISK I/O Scaling allows you to scale up to 100 million IOPS on a single server.
